I was involved in an accident with one of Mutual & Federal's clients on 27/09/2013. All the required documentation was finally sent to them on 11/11/2013. Margaret Matebula was assigned to the case with ref no: 80634834. I had to phone her not once but three times to find out what was going on. On 02/12/2013 I phoned her again and she confirmed everything was sent to Shaheeda Nicholas. I contacted Shaheeda the same day and she confirmed that she would send me the time-lines of when the claim would be finalised. I am still waiting for her e-mail. I do not receive any feedback from M & F if I don't phone them. The accident was NOT my fault and I think I have been patient long enough now. If my hellopeter complaint proves unsuccessful, I will revert to the Ombudsman for short term insurance. I am well aware of my rights under the Consumer Act and will not hesitate to exercise them if I feel that I am being treated unfairly and that the matter is being delayed on purpose by M & F. Please help me.
