Closing amount and reopening does not correspond

With the closing of one account the balance and interest was tranferred to a suspense account. When the new account was opened the opening amount was less than the closing balance plus interest.
Upon visiting Nedbank Gezina we learned that there was a problem with the system and they would contact me regarding this matter. I do not understand why this could not be resolved there and then. Please Nedbank rectify your mistake and make that the closing interest amounts and opening amount do balance. Your prompt reply would be appreciated.
