My name is Thobeka Moraka. I contacted Clientele Legal (Clientele) via their website, mid November and applied for a covers of R250.00 (for myself) and R140.00 (for my mother). A consultant contacted me on a Saturday to assist me with product and my deduction details. The consultant promised to send legal policy documents to my physical address and to my mother's. On the 21/11/2013 I received an sms notifying me about premiums which were to be deducted from my account "within 09 days from 22nd. I instructed Cleintele to deduct on the 27th of every month. Secondly, I was shocked that deduction were going to made without me receiving any documentation from the company. I wrote to Clientele via e-mail on the 21/11/2013 expressing my dissatisfaction with their service and I also mentioned that I do not agree with the deductions as long as I have not received the documents in question.. I received a reply on the 25/11/2013 stating that my policy document will be emailed to me within 24 hours. The intire content was about debit order deductions and their billing procedures, and no remorse was expressed regarding my plight. Deductions went through on 27/11/2013, but still no policy!
