Stalling disability payouts until when???

Business & Finance

An employee who has worked since 2009 and paid every month towards her provident fund, with disability benefits. In 2011 she was not sick at all, in 2012 she had 2 days off with a Dr's note. This year at the end of May she started feeling ill and after going to Dr's and being put on "meds" she continued to deteriorate. TB tests, HIV everything came back negative, eventually we rushed her into hospital where it was found she was in Cardiac failure. The Dr has confirmed in writing that it will never return to normal, but she tells the Dr she needs to work to feed her family, they say OK, go back after 10 days to work, she crashes a week later at work, back to hospital and the same story is repeated, the need to work to feed the family. She has now had 38 days off work, she works with special needs children as an assistant. How can she lift the children? what if she drops a child? what if she collapses in front of the children? she is clearly not physically strong enough to work but needs to feed herself and family. Is this not what we pay insurance for? so now - do we let her starve for months waiting for Momentum to stop stalling or do we let her 'work' to eat, and forfeit payout
