Roadside Assistance unlawful signup!

I received an email from FNB about roadside assistance. email was very vague & the only thing clickable on the email was a little button that said Click here to be automatically signed up. Wanting to find out more (&after going to their website to read up about it which they suggested, I found nothing about -so wanting to know more I clicked the button, thinking that there would at least be another step or form to fill before going through with anything. Only to find out they I have now been automatically signed up for this product - without my full consent! So a day or so later I get an sms to say my account will automatically be activated in 30 days and a number to call for further information. When I call this number to tell them that I actually don't want the product, they tell me I need to call the FNB call centre to cancel it, then when I call the FNB call centre they tell me I need to call Roadside Assistance -the number I have just called! So now no one is willing to help me cancel this thing! The solution I am presented with is to go into a branch to cancel it. So I must now go into a branch to cancel something I did not sign for!!! this must be against my consumer rights!!!
