This makes me wonder why i have never banked with ABSA n my whole life!!!

i applied for a credit card TWICE!!! got my last one, called the bank and told them that i need to activate the card and that i only got the card the previous day.

the lady on the phone said not a problem at all, all i need s the card and my ID. made the trip to East Rand Mall... (after telling my boss that i will only be gone for an hour!!!), stood in for close to half an hour, finally got someone to help me, telling me that they cant do anything because they need my FICA documents (already i was off because why did they say they only need my ID and the card), left the bank to go and pick up my documents, got back to the bank by 2 pm stood there trying to activate this card and to date that still hasn't happened after i was promised to be called back on Friday...

this is the second time it is happening with an ABSA credit card... they want me to pay my 1st monthly installment but why should i if this card is no use to me??? i see it this way... if you have a paying customer... then surly your service should be perfect or at least usable...
