I applied for an ABSA credit card last year Oct and I was approved and asked to collect my card at lyttelton centurion. I collected my credit card and have been using it and paying my monthly instalments. I get an sms every day from ABSA letting me know how much I can use in my account. Today I poured petrol at a feeling station and my credit card declined, I tried to withdraw from an ATM and still couldnt get money. I phoned ABSA and they said my card had been frozen because they where missing my documents. Firstly how does the bank loose your documents, why does the bank freeze my acc without letting me know and what happened to the document I had submitted before?
