I have been a customer of ABSA for more that 15 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances i had to go under debt review. Absa received all notification of this as well as all payments as per debt review arrangement. I recently received a payout from SARS which unfortunately was paid into my cheque account. Which is no longer in use but open and payments are being received. I went into and ABSA branch to have the money transfered into my ABSA savings account. The call was logged on the 11/11/2013 and i was advised that the turn around time is 3- 5 wrking days. I was also advised by the telller as well as the consultant when i called in on the 3rd day that i will get a refund. I again called in on the 5th day to check how far the query was. I was advised by a cockey agent that i will receive the funds on 16/11/2013. I called in on monday 18/11/2013 after not receiving anything, that it is stiill on process. I wanted to spk to a T/L i was advised by the agent i need to call in later the day. I advised the agent to ask the T/L to call me as i have waisted to many calls already. No call from anyone. Not even a call to explain what the hold up was. Is this how d/review clients get treated?
