Bad Debt

I received a visitor from a company called DMC for a money that i apparently owe to real people. When i was called earlier i asked the lady to provide me with details of this loan which she said she was gonna e-mail to me, for which im still waiting. And today i receive a visitor coming to make payment arrangements. According to the documents the last payment on this loan was in 2007. Its 2013 which means 6 years later and this debth has prescribed, No one has called me to inform me of this debts until 4 days ago. and when you call their offices they do not answer their phones.

Please how do you demand payment on debt that has prescribed.
