End of August 2013 I applied for assistance at Standard Banks Customer Assist. They said it would take 15 working days which is acceptable. After about 2 months of waiting patiently whith no answer I phoned them only to be told it is in the final stages and I will have an answer the next week! Each time you phone you wait about 20 minutes before some one answers! And now about a month later (3 months in total) I get a call from them just to reconfirm all my details for the second time and was told I would have an answer the next day. Today 15 November 2013 all I get is an sms saying that it was declined due to affordability. So I again had to phone them just to be told the exact same thing as on the sms!!! They made me wait 3 months just to send me an sms saying its declined! They should not be called customer assist at all as there is NO assistance from them, just extended periods of waiting and disappointment!!! No explanions and no appollogies! Just sorry we can't help!!!
