I have been an Outsurance client since they started. Today I emailed them a few very specific questions relating to my policy. The 2 cars on my policy are insured at "retail" value - I asked what the specific value was. And how this relates to the premium value - one of which is three times the other but probably the same resale value. I also asked about the glass excesses that were different too. I also asked for a quote on premiums if I have minimal excess.
They then called me to try and put me through to an agent - I explained that I wanted an email response for my records, and because I am busy in meetings all day and cant talk on the phone.
They said they don't do this - I insisted. However they emailed me a brochure about why they are better than any other insurer!! And left me a voicemail to call their call centre!
I have very specific questions about my policy - which should have specific answers.
Do they want to lose me as a client after 12 years?
