I switched car insurance to Virgin a few months ago. When I signed up they told me I need to get my car inspected by Glasfit - fair enough. I forgot about it, and a few months later my car got broken into and my laptop. When I phoned them, they reminded me that the inspection wasn't done when I signed up so they won't pay for anything. So I immediately did my assesment with Glasfit on the spot. When I phoned them today for a quote on house contents insurance, I recalled my last incident and just checked with them that everything was now in order. It's not! They still have not received the assesment from Glasfit and I'm still not covered! How dare you take my money month after month without letting me know that there's a problem on my policy? This is unlawful! I can understand if something is not in order, but you simply cannot accept money from me for the one service you provide to me, if you can't warrant it! Unacceptable! My car could have been in an accident and my life completely financially ruined because you couldn't be bothered to tell me there's a problem with my policy. Please contact me, otherwise I'll take this further.
