I had an accident on the 04th of November 2013. I reported the incident to MiWay and my claim was registered by Lanene Oosthuizen. I was told to go to the assessment centre and I went on the same day. MiWay Insurance received the assessment report on the same day. The problem is everytime I phone MiWay they are telling me that they have received the assessment something I know and they are still busy with the claim. Lanene had an attitude when I called her saying my claim was only registered on the 04th of Nov. The problem is I am driving a damaged vehicle which gets more damaged as I am driving it because of the accident. Also as a customer I would like to get regular updates as per the status of my claim because all the insurance tells me is "they are still processing". This doesnt give me sufficient information as to what are they exactly processing and how long it will take. I am extremely unhappy and very dissatisfied about how they handle my claim. I have been a loyal customer and never missed a single premium for about 2yrs now and this is the treatment I get as a customer.
