I am very dissappointed in Nedbank. I went to Nedbank end of July to cancel a Nedlife (Life insurance) policy and was handed a form to submit in August. I did everything by the book. I got an sms from Nedbank, stating that they received my request, but that there was a delay. Three weeks after that I got an sms to give the Call Centre a call. I tried, but could not get through. As I work full time, it is very difficult to find time to do your personal things in work time, so it was much later that I had time to call again and this time I got through. I was told that a witness had to sign the page. No one told me this at Nedbank. I was shocked that they never gave me a call, and was told that they tried to get hold of me - that they send me a sms! Seriously... I work for a competitor bank, and we NEVER send clients please call me's! And if a form is not fully completed, we will call the client until we get hold of them, and not just throw the application or request out! And..the sms did not say something was missing, it just said pls call us. Very unprofessional. I will never do business with them again
