So I see some administration charge on my platinum cheque account and I also joined absa rewards where I requested a monthly fee but suddenly I was charged an amount of R221 - so I go online and I send a message - it goes no where so I wait 48 hours because my bank is busy. I phone the absa platinum line at 8am I get through a nice lady who cannot do anything but transfer me - consultant I think not, I am then transferred to someone else who then sends me to another person who just left me hanging so after 15 minutes I hangup. I then send an email to action line wait 24 hours again and I kindly am told they have forwarded my request pass the buck no call no service why I am staying. I have a R45 admin charge which I have now figured out is a admin charge for interest statement that I requested when my account was opened to stop - why would u want a interest statement on a cheque account come on - time to move on and explore FNB or Standard bank maybe they can give me service
