I realised that I have been of over R28000 of my Cheque Account. I am putting my money with Standard Bank to keep it safe and not for someone to it. Anyway, I phoned them on Friday 01 November 2013 to raise this issue. They did not come back to me or to tell me what I should do next. Only when I phoned their department today they told me that they will send me a affidavit. Yesterday I also called them and spoke to Nicole Bubbly which asked me how I want her to help me after I explained my situation. Pure incompetence. They also stopped my current cheque card and apparently delivered another one to my nearest branch but failed to let me know the card arrived. I can understand why FNB is being called the innovative branch and why they keep comms and feedback open without hectic overhead of following up and doing standard banks jobs for them. If you looking for a bunch of "Steve's" please contact me as I will point you in the right direction.
