My Handset was damaged on the 19th of October 2013. I logged the claim on Monday the 23 of October 2013. When I took out the insurance no one advised me that if the Sim has been changed I should contact the insure to update and now I get a call after 13days to realise that my claim is decline. I did't not received no policy document from Fin-rite or 24hour Mobility. When I logged the claim, the Call Centre Agent called me and advised that the handheld was last you used on the 3 September, which was not true. The reason why the Sim card was changed was because I had free minutes on the other Sim card. If Fin-rite could see the that the Handheld was last used on the 3 September, why didn't I receive an email from my insurer to update my details, but yet they went on debiting my account. When I took out my Insurance it was for my phone not my Sim card. Now I'm left with a damaged handset and Fin-rite declines my claim, with no evidence stating that if my Sim card has been changed the claim would be declined.
