First National Bank
Faulty card and i get charged?

Business & Finance

Yesterday I reported my FNB card to be faulty, (not, not lost!) like I explained I used it at a service station, and it didn't need my pin from me, the next time I also went to a service station, no pin was required when I swiped my card. the last time I used it, was at an FNB ATM, an error showed up, and I couldn't draw money. I used my cellphone for this then.

This is a Debit card, my salary gets deposited into this account, which makes it unsafe??
I don't use the card at all, I leave it at home, where I know it is safe, I would not like anyone to be able to swipe my card on my expense.

I get billed for the replacement of the card??? and its obviously a fault from FNB's side?
its only R105 for replacement... if this happens again? I'll need to pay? I'm not happy about this. Now, I'll also have to go sit at the bank to pick up my new card, my petrol? and most of all my time!

I don't want to leave FNB, but I don't accept this. The thing is, this card is not even 3 months old. I'd rather cancel the card, and keep on using my cellphone for cash
