On the 23/10 at 11.20 a cheque was deposited at campus square autobank. I received an sms confirming the deposit and immediately after the transaction was completed an autobabk slip printed that due to a technical error the transaction had been cancelled. I am immediately went to the campus square branch (ref no. 55597623) to report the incident and i was told that irrespect of it not being a fault of mine that it would take 6 working days for the autobank centre to go through the bags to find my cheque and correct this error. For 3 continuous days i phoned prestige banking explaining my predicament as i could not wait for 6 days. The first unacceptable thing was the turnaround time as it was no fault of mine and to add inslt, when i spoke to the consultant on friday she confirmed as per the conversation with her teamleader, they can't assist me with an increased temporary overdraft as the concern was what if there is no cheque in the envelope. Which person would go through the trouble of going to the branch and making phone calls for 3 days if they did not make the deposit. The consultant noted that this account has so many deposits but still my integrity was questioned.
