We cancelled a new bond request & had to replace it with a new bond. On 21 Oct we went to Std Bank canal walk to cancel & given an SLA of 3 days. A number of calls were made to check on the status of this throughout the week.By 25 Oct I had not received a reponse & told by the bank they had sent me & the attorneys an sms saying the attorneys dealing with the bond must cancel. I did not receive any sms and the attorneys knew nothing. On Oct 26 I spoke to James who was friendly but clueless. He told me the request could only be dealt with on 28 October, a full 7 days in total. I requested to speak to his mngr Clifford Lukhele but got a poor excuse that his mngr was not available. on 2nd request to speak to him i was told his mngr had now sent an email to cancel the bond. I find this disturbing that he cld not take the call but had time enough to send the email. They did not fulfill the sla of 3 days & we cld lose the house, shoddy technology as no sms was received, untrained staff & team leaders that are not client focussed. I was never contacted by Std Bank regarding the requirements & received the worst service ever from the call cente
