I was sent some money from a person overseas via Western Union.

Proceeded to Absa at the Pavilion to retrieve the funds.

The lady at counter 5 started the procedure like she knew what she was doing. After more than 40 minutes and her stalling, scratching her head, passing my passport to her clueless colleague, and requesting information not required for this transaction I left.

I went next door to an American Express which gave me the money in hand in less than 9 minutes.

To Absa: Please stop offering a service your staff have absolutely no clue or training on how to execute or service.
