It's close to 4 weeks now since we applied for a Nedbank point of sale and in all this time we have experienced the most extreme form of bad service you'd never wish on anyone. Firstly on two occasions the excuse was we hadn't signed one or two pages. Dates for installation were set but no one pitched and no one bothered to inform us of this. We eventually were able to contact the installation Manager, I've yet to meet a more obnoxious arrogant awful person in my life. She blew air into my ear. Out of desperation we contacted the Banking Association of South Africa, result of which was a system called pocket pos sent through to us. This has to be most useless piece of technology in the whole world. It just doesn't work and the connection is bad, worse is the transaction is done via a mobile phone and it looks dodgy to say the least. Imagine a restaurant full of people waiting to pay their bills and you are busy transacting over your mobile phone. It doesn't look professional at all. We were then advised to fill some more forms and told some will be send today, the 22nd of October and as expected no one pitched. You'd be tempted to believe that bad service is Nedbank's policy.
