The RED CARPET is shown to attract NEW CLIENTS, but good current clients are shown the back door without flinching, and I find this shocking treatment.

We have a homeloan account with Nedbank and we're looking to put a substantial amount of money into our current access bond and see if we could get a better rate on our homeloan.

As it is we have been paying Prime for quite some time now, and the Nedbank consultants in the said department informed me that there is absolutely NO WAY they will even look into the matter because NEDBANK have decided in April 2013 that all current bonds rates will not be looked at or renegotiated NO MATTER the merits.

I find this appalling because Nedbank will negotiate rates on any new homeloan in order to acquire the prospective new business (No matter how good or bad it may turn out to be), but they don't seem to have any business retention strategy in place to keep their loyal and good customers on their books.

NEDBANK, it does not matter how much new business you write, because if you cant look after and retain your good current clients due to poor decision making, you will NEVER grow to surpass your competitors who were happy to talk to me.
