Website transactions fail continusously

I have paid 3 batches of transactions over the last three days and on each occasion there is at least one transaction that fails. Please explain that why when you have an authorisation for a specific amount (which is then held by the bank so authorisation has been granted), does a transaction fail? Why does is fail when you have already secured the authorisation, this has to be an internal issue. I currently have absolutely no facility on my cards because the banked transaction does not match the authorised amount, the authorisation stands at the bank for 7 to 10 days, and it is almost impossible to have the authorisation cancelled at the bank, days after you actually bank the transactions which have been successful. The website is becoming impossible to use, I spend 3 days of every week in a battle with the bank to have ghost authorisations cancelled from transactions that fail on the website. I would like an explanation as to why transactions fail when transaction is authorised by the bank? I have asked this by email on several occasions with no response. Is there a solution being addressed or is transacting on the website going to continue to be a lottery?
