Terms of administration of a will renounced

Both my mother and I had accounts with Absa, so as a service they offered, I arranged to have Absa set up and administer my mother's will, acting as executors on her death. This arrangement, including the financial arrangements were included in writing in the will. However on my mother's death, Absa suddenly renounced their administration of the will, sending me a letter to that effect, maintaining they'd sent the documentation to the Master of the supreme court Durban.
So I had to turn the matter over to a lawyer, at my own expense, who found that the Master in Durban maintains they do not have the documents.
I then e-mailed Absa to ask them to confirm where the documents were sent. For some unknown reason they sent me a copy of the letter they'd already sent me (in which they gave the master an incorrect address for me) and further on they just ignored me.
I don't know where to now
