We went to the bank at 9:30 until the doors closed just to get signing powers on my Gran's account. She has been with Absa for 15 years and never had any problems. She is in a wheelchair and cannot sit for to long as it hurts her hip. My brother had to stand in the queue so that my Gran can see a teller. Not good at all. There was no service for disabled people at all? My Gran started to complain for waiting so long and nothing was done. We had to wait some more - but then we were looked at as if there was a something wrong with us? The system or something did not work with them that day - apparently because I wasn't a Absa client to get Signing powers or something like that - CLAD I am not one. My bank at least help me were they can when I ask for it. We then were send to another teller and waiting for the teller to get to her chair about 15min? My Gran started to complain about her hip that she can't sit anymore in the wheelchair. So I helped her onto the BIG red chairs - very uncomftable. When we were finished it was closing time? Hope you do something about this - this incident really upset my Granny and she is 88 years of age.
