My father passed away on the 17th of June 2013 - My mom on mothers day 12 May 2013.In July I went into the Bayside branch to notify them of my fathers death, they took copies from the original ID and Death Certificate, I asked the agent is there anything more i need to do, she said no they will now close the account and nothing will go in or out of the accounts, since then I have been harassed by SB up to 8 times a day, I have sent them through email as per their request the documents, I have sent the documents to their deceased department who are suppose to contact you within 5-7days needless to say this has NOT happened, I have now had a call from Nibble to say it has been handed over. SB have noted on their system after I have spoken and spoken to them that there is a note saying his passed away. YET!! THEY CONTINUED to phone and ask to speak to my dad, I have had a difficult couple of months and during bereavement tI expect people to do their jobs and not harass people who are mourning the loss of their parents. I have found STANDARD BANK or their agents to be useless in their jobs
