Urglary claim unfairly denied

My name is Irfaan Mukadam, On the 15th of February 2012 i took out Insurance from Santam via a consultant telephonically. I told him that I do have an Alarm, but its not working and the consultant told me that if all my louvers are burglar barred then the alarm (not working) wont be a problem. As the conversation progressed i asked him again about the alarm issue and he again reassured me that if all exits are fully burglar barred then it wont be a problem.
I suffered a big loss with a burglary in December 16th 2012.Santam requested an alarm report and immediately i knew that a problem have started. I explained to them exactly what were discussed then between myself and Santams consultant. I requested a copy of the conversation, but no response.
Rozaan Visser, the assessor visited me on the 11th of January 2013 and took all necessary documents with her.
A week later we phoned her and she told us that Santam Management requested a report from her and that she will let us know as soon as she received any response. The 21st Rozaan Visser told us our claim was denied due to alarm. We send Fatima Benjamin a report. I contacted the Ombudsman ref TT147789.Im just awaiting a letter from Santam.
