Standard Bank
UNSAFE ATM!

There is a unsafe Standard Bank ATM on Main RD, Melville - Johannesburg (next to the Spar). The ATM is situated down a dark alleyway and now the bank has installed a screen to further assist criminals.
I was robbed of my card behind the screen and money was drawn from my account at a nearby Nedbank. Standard Bank called today (one month later) and very apathetically told me that I would never get the money back from them - no surprises there. I have already reported this ATM as unsafe and given a suggestion - not a single thing has been done. Also (unsurprisingly) a Standard Bank customer just before me was also robbed I was told by a passerby. Standard Bank has been slow, uncaring and you get the impression that they could not give a about their customers. I have been with the bank 25 years and am very disappointed with their unprofessional manner!
