Account settled and not updated on ITC

On the 24 August 2013 I closed my revolving credit account with Standard bank at PTA North branch. On the 7 October 2013 checked my ITC profile and saw that I still owe my revolving current account. Phoned customer care and was told by Fabian that I must go to the branch and request paid up letter. I went to the branch and Tshidi told me that they are not allowed to issue any paid up letter. Where will I get the letter? When will my ITC information be updated? I find this pathetic and need answers now!
