World Currency card is not recommended at all

Went abroad and took forex loaded on the Bidvest World Currency Card. The hotel reserved funds on the card at check in and then billed me at check out. The reserved funds were never released. It is now a week later and the funds are stil not released. Hotel said I need to call the bank. The Bidvest website lists a number to call and an email address to release hotels reserved amounts. I call the number and speak to the person above who says the hotel must send them a mail directly and that their website is incorrect. Very frustrating - I will not recommend this card to anyone nor will I ever use it again. Pathetic service and process - give me the good old credit card anyday.
