Momentum Dreaded Disease

I have a a policy with Momentum for dreaded disease. I put in 2 claims more than a year ago. The one on Rhumatoid arthritis they told me I'm not Ill enough after about 18 mnths. The one on lung epieem, lung drainage and lung resection I am still waiting for their response. They just seem to ignore it. My point of view is I have taken out these policies to look after myself financially and cover myself if I become ill. It all seems that I would have had more money to look after myself if I just paid it into a bank account.
To today I still have had no feedback neither from momentum or from my broker which they have also not answered. Is it worth it???
