False Promises - Lazy/ Non-existent Staff

Being a current Discovery Life Insurance customer, i decided to make a web inquiry on the Discovery Insure product. I was wonderfully assisted telephonically by Thabo, who offered to match/ beat my existing cover with A&G. This should have been a win-win for both parties! But not for me. My cover ommitted my 2 phones, missed critical info re my wifes car, and each time it took weeks for responses and ultimate rectification. Now, 1 month later, my premium is R300 more than my initial insurance, and further compounded by poor/ non-service, underpinned by false advertising!

If this crowd does not honour their promise (Which should be recorded, but probably only used in their defence), I will be looking to cancel both my life/ long-term and short-term policies with Discovery, subject to studying the "fine- prints."

Discovery management should start reviewing your processes and their creation of customer expectations that are higher fictional, re price, service and product.
