My excess got increased without my knowledge!

After being with Miway for 3 years with an very clean record, they gave me a nice surprise... They increased my policy and they increased my excess from R1000 per vehicle to R3000 per vehicle. I then called the call center to ask an explanation, but was told to hold on. After holding on for almost 3 minutes, I put the phone down. If I can't trust my insurance company, then that's a sign that I should look for better service elsewhere. I've always thought that Miway was the cheapest in the market, but it just took me 25 minutes to get a much better quote, from Alexander Forbes.
