First National Bank
Deducting With out Consent

Business & Finance

I was recently retrenched and had a Platinum Account with FNB. On the 18 of Feb 2013 I informed FNB and forward them my retrenchment letter. I had received a reference number but this was everything stopped. They closed my account in April 2013 without any notification to me. We I query this they told me a letter was sent to my address, which I never received. In this time I had some some odd work here and there. During September money I received R7500 in my savings account, that I had to open because of the closure of my current account (and because I had received very good service in the past from FNB - Loyalty). The shock of my life wen I woke up on Saturday morning to see that they had deducted R666.01 X 2. I went to the branch and they could not help me because it was FNB Legal that deducted the money with-out my consent. I phoned Jolene Maziba on Monday and she told me that they had every right to deduct the money. I am prepared to pay back my debts and I have start working on the 1st of Oct 2013 but I need that money that was deducted to survive. Is it really so hard to understand and where is the slogan "How can we help" Please FNB I need your help now!
