I have had an unauthorised debit order of R299 presented against my bank account, and when I query this with the supplier, she says sorry must be a capturing error. I have purchased no products from this company, so how do they just get your banking details and submit a debit order. She advised me that her Manager Dianne Moodley is on sick leave, i am sure she is permanently on sick leave, so to avoid these calls. Now they need to pull out the recording and come back to me, we will see how long that will take. I have received to confirmation of any products being purchased, but sure as, the money has been taken off my bank account, which I in the interim have reversed. Funniest thing is the lady on the phone tell me oh that will make it easier if I have reversed it for the finance department. I do not think is it appropriate for banks to just submit debit orders against our accounts, unless they have a signed debit order authority in their position. This is unacceptable.
