For the past 4 or 5 years, if not more, Nedbank has consistently debited both of our accounts with an annual service fee. Both of our accounts are not meant to be billed for this - it is one of the benefits of the type of account we have - e.g. I have a Savvy account.
Every year we have to call into the call centre and request for it to be reversed. Every year we receive an apology with the intention to remedy the situation and every year nothing is done. The one year we were told that new cards had to be issued since the matter could not be resolved on the system.
I would like to report this to the relevant body as i am sure that this is not in line with the Consumer Protection Act.
If someone from Nedbank makes contact with me, please give a solution that will work going forward and not empty or uninformed responses.
