FALSE CLAIM ABOUT OWING DEBT

I received an sms from DMA and subsequently a letter, stating that they work on behalf on my dentist, that I owe money to (from June) and they have been instructed to institute action to recover the outstanding amount.

After speaking to my dentist this morning, there is no outstanding amount on my account, and the claim was paid by my medical aid in June!! It also seems that this is not the first time this has happened to patients of this particular dentist and DMA is phoning people and demanding money when there is no outstanding money on their accounts.

I am absolutely appalled at this and how DMA is working. Plus the fact that I am now on a debt collectors list for something that has actually been paid!!
