Incompetent employee

On 31 January 2013 I requested a statement for one of our employee's garnishee orders, after receiving it I made a payment of the balance due on 7 February 2013. I emailed the proof of payment to Friedel and requested an updated statement to see that the garnishee order was settle in full. After getting no response, I emailed Friedel again on 12 & 20 March 2013 - with no response again. On 16 September 2013 (7 months later!) I receive a call from Friedel saying there is still R532.24 outstanding on the garnishee, if he responded on the 7th of February 2013 the outstanding amount would have been R 77, 04. So due to his incompetence and not doing his work, I need to pay R 455, 20 extra to settle this garnishee order. I also requested feedback from him on 16, 19 & 27 September about this issue and only received feedback today - again with him not understanding the issue. If you phone the call center - you never get through. I want to know is this how you handle all your clients, ignoring their requests and waiting a few months to follow up so that extra interest and fees accrue? Can someone please contact me who is competent and can explain why this happened.
