I had a geyser claim on the 12 August, where I lodged a claim with Absa insurance through their call centre, where Lusanda attended to my call and I was sent a claim no: 2439460 to my cell. Gahlia Adams was the 2nd agent I spoke to after nobody attended to my claim, she then referred me to Andre Joseph the office manager to call me back. In this interim I discovered that they had gone out to another client under my reference no and had replaced a geyser. At my costs had to call in a plumber to check the geyser and a electrician who tested my mains etc as I was using a high amount of electricity which I could not account for. Andre Joseph took his time coming back to and told me that my geyser was replaced, not realising that they had gone to another client.. Finally on the 4 Sept. 2013 my geyser was replaced and to find that it was not a new geyser. I spoke to Andre and emailed him and until now today 26 Sept 2013, I have not heard from Andre Joseph after leaving messages and sending him emails. I have had to get quotes for the resultant damage using my time and costs where Absa have been receiving my premiums for this insurance. I NEED AN URGENT RESPONSE!!
