Tried to apply for a further amount on home loan. Straightforward, consultant said we'd hear in 24 hours. Week later I am told it wasn't submitted because they didn't receive supporting documents. Wrong, the same consultant confirmed that they were on the system. Next call (1 day later) and the consultant reveals that I should submit further documentation, that should have originally been requested.
Third call and I'm told that the amount has been declined (not yet received the docs that were requested, no call, no email, no nothing. Silence from them as usual. Consultant says that I will receive a call explaining why it was declined and explaining what will need to be done to rectify. All this after the initial consultation said we'd have the money within a few days.
2weeks, 4 calls (probably totalling an hour), 3 emails... Not one reply after being promised 3 calls within 24 hours. I must call them.
I am utterly disgusted by the service at standard bank home loans. I have been reasonable. This is my first post on this website, I am not in the habit of complaining. I am hoping that somehow I can actually speak to someone who can help
