Good day,
I was recently retrenched due to medical reasons and have been unemployed for almost five months. I missed two months of paying my premium due to reasons beyond my control. Because I was retrenched due to medical reason, I had to lodged a disability claim with my life insurance company. Unfortunately the claim has taken much longer to be finalized than we thought. This have left me in serious financial difficulties. My financial problems will be resolved within the next month. I have been trying to contact MiWay to establish if they will continue to insure me as of October. Nobody has bothered to get back to me. They sent me a letter saying they are cancelling my policy on which I responded and told them my situation. Still they don't bother to get back to me. They forfeited my cash back bonus. It seems that they only care with what benefit them. They like doing things "their way"! They are not understanding and not even willing to come to a compromise. Even after all this, I have continued to try get hold of them as I was happy with their service in the past. If they are not willing to help an existing client, then I should find another insurance company?
