On the 6 of July i was had an accidednt where an Absa client failed to stop at the stop sign and drove into me hitting both of my passenger doors. The following Monday i contacted his insurance and they requested the supporting documents to the accident which i submitted on time. Out of R27K quote i was offered R2500 and when i queried with management it was raised to R6670 reason given was: it would seem that the accident happened at the juncture of a secondary road to a main road. Case law prescribes a apportionment of damages, resulting in you being awarded a % of your damages, but also being held liable for a % of the other parties damages, We deduct your liable portion form the offered amount.
I kthen signed the offer and was told by Cameron the payment will be done week ending 13/09. On Friday i phoned in to check progress of payment then accounts advise me that the payment will go through 18/09. I phone in 17/09 just to confirm payment tomorrow and am told fild got rejected and had to be submitted to Absa and the takes 14 day to pay. What am i got to do with processes that reject payment? all i need is payment as promised by the VFA employees not stories about the system.
