Absa
20 days no response on home loan

I am in the process of buying a house, i sent in my documents to all the banks on the 29thof august 2013. On the 2nd of September i received feedback that i was approved by standard bank and nedbank. On the 4th i received feedback from fnb-also approved. I have called the absa home loan dept several times, raised queries and asked the to escelate the matter as urgent on several different occasions. Now as per the NCA an agreement is only valid for 5days then the partys offer no longer stands, as it is the 16 th of september and i have received no feedback from absa i have to redo all my other applications for the other banks as those deals expired.

I want urgent feedback from absa so that i can compare what all the financial institutions are offering.

This is such an inconvienience to me and my family as we are renting now and we want to have our dream home approved asap.

So please take this plea as a matter of urgency!
