I have been trying to pull out an investment with my bank and have spoken to someone via Nedbank's Facebook page on how to approach this. The Facebook guy sent me to Nedbank's customer care helpline who then sent me to an investments line who then said I can do this via Internet Banking. However, this did not seem to be the case. Then I called the customer care line again and emailed as well. I was frustrated. Then this morning, I got a call from a "Rajesh" out of Durban. He explained to me that it was wrong of the Nedbank agents to send me from pillar to post and he sounded genuine and profusely apologized. He showed some professionalism and sounded empathetic. He also explained that the bank had not added investments to my internet banking profile, things that 6 other agents failed to inform me of. Rajesh restored my faith in an otherwise archaic Nedbank. He is an important part of the customer care team. Keep up the good work! :)
