Load judgement because of their incompetence

After 3 months of calling standard bank and asking them how do I pay an account, and getting incorrect details from them, they then go and load a default judgement against me and now it stays on my credit record for 2 years.
1 - I called them 4 times to try and pay the account
2 - they gave me incorrect account details 4 times
3 - finally when handed over to lawyers - NOT EVEN THE LAWYERS HAD THE CORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER

Now they up my credit record because they are totally incompetent. It is disgusting that they can do this.
These situations cause ppl huge issues, and they don't care. Will be taking this up with the credit ombudsman.
