Intrabank Payments Don't Clear Sameday!

It's been over a year since I last brought this up with Standard Bank, I got an incredibly weak excuse last time and the problem is still present over a year later.

Currently, Standard Bank is the only SA bank that doesn't do sameday clearance on EFTs made between 2x Standard Bank accounts. EFTs are non-reversible, so the excuse that I got last time about '-monitoring' on transactions is a non-issue. However, what does happen, is that legitimate business is hampered because of Standard Bank's apathy or inability to ensure swift clearance of payments.

I deal with the other major banks (Capitec, FNB, Nedbank, ABSA) and don't have any issues with payment clearances, it's literally just Standard Bank. Heck, they aren't even able to do sameday clearance on funds from my main account, to my credit card.

If you have somebody fielding your complaints on HP, it's about time that you actually start taking some customer-feedback and work on actually improving the service, instead of having somebody phone-up to provide excuses for way you're currently handling things.
