Claim for a car insurance

I have a full comprehensive cover with oakhurst insurance for my vw plo 1.6 2013 model and i was assisted by a gentleman called Josh. on the 19/08/2013 i was involved in a car accident i called them and they said being that my car was movable i should go home and call them the following morning. They came to collect the car after 2 days. I was then told by SICELO from their investigating team that i didnt report the accident on the 20 i reported it on the 21 i had to get an accident report by paying R220 to proove to them. know they telling me that the damages to the car cost R61089, 97 and they will only pay 33 871.91 then i should pay the rest. I was not advised of theb 6 months waiting period and they telling me i never sent them a letter from the previus insurer. They now telling me all along i have been paying 86% of my premiums. They telling me they cannot process the claim because my premiums where not 100% they will deposit tge money in my account i should take the car to any panel beater. i have been calling this people since the acccident they never told me such things and by rite i was not supporsed to call them they should call me.
