During 2012 I received a call from Standard Bank's call centre offering me a credit card which I duly accepted (which was out of the ordinary as normally I decline these things).

Yep. I should've declined it because now it's become a ball and chain. They do not send out statements. So I did not pay, thinking I owed nothing, but turns out I owed them their annual charges, whoopee.

And for that I get handed over to the Collections department. Upon discovering this as my card had been declined for purchase, the dude at the call centre was downright RUDE.

Hey, Standard W a n k - if you want your money honey, send me a statement and train your staff on customer care, drop the heavy handed attitude and realise that if you don't send your monthly statements to clients, you can't expect payment hey. Don't you duded do monthly statements? The Law states you have to send me a statement, not so?

Where do I decline this credit card and tell you to shove it??? Give me call and I'll give you my account number and we can take it from there, but all I know is that I'm not taking your anymore!
