Can one expect service from your bank?

I have battled for 3 months to have 1 of my accounts closed. I was promised that all bank charges deducted from my account during this time will be refunded. Needless to say, NOTHING HAPPENED. My original profile number for internet banking was link to the account that was eventually closed. I received a new profile number, now linked to one of my other accounts. I requested that all my beneficiaries be transferred from my old profile to the new one. This could, in this new age of electronics, not be done. I further requested that all my accounts, excluding the bank account that was closed, as they were listed on my old profile, be added to my new profile. I am totally being ignored. My e-mail are being delivered and I receive a read report, but nothing gets done about it. Is this the type of service that one can expect after 17 years or is this because I do not owe the bank any money and I have turned down an overdraft I was offered from the bank.
